Ich und meine Freundin haben uns spontan entschieden ein Tattoo in Amsterdam zu stechen. Als Symbol haben wir die Tulpe gewählt. Die Leute dort waren echt cool drauf und sehr freundlich. Es war unser erstes Tattoo und wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Endergebnis finden wir beide wunderschön. Nick was so approachable, knowledgeable and nice! Marinos line work is insane!

I want to start this review by stating that nick the manager was extremely charismatic, helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. He made me feel comfortable and happy with my decision of picking this shop. The artist was also fantastic and has clear creative skill. However, I clearly communicated what I was looking for and a piece of my tattoo did not come out as planned. If you compare the two photos, I communicated the saddle of the bicycle to not be filled in. When seeing the final product, I brought this up. Nick said “The artist sometimes takes creative liberty.” This is something I didn’t agree on and don’t agree with. Further, after bringing this issue up, nick immediately asked me if I was drinking before this because there was some blood on my tattoo. As someone that doesn’t drink, this seemed like a way to cover the mistake of the tattoo. Again, overall this tattoo experience was great and I’m 90% satisfied with the outcome. However the way the last piece was handled left a sour taste in my mouth. Please see my intended tattoo on paper vs how it appeared.
