There are 2 different ways to upload designs on MijnTattoo, as a user or as a page owner. In both cases it is possible to use external applications such as Facebook or Instagram to upload your tattoos.
As a user you can upload your designs on MijnTattoo, go to "My Tattoos" in the menu and click on the camera icon at the top right. This page contains a list of all your uploads, for users your designs are bundled. If you upload multiple designs at once, they will appear in 1 upload. All your designs are then deduplicated, filtered, compressed and activated.
As a user you can choose to upload your designs privately, this means your designs won't be shown in the designs list.
Designs from users do not immediately appear in the design list, the designs are first approved before they are shown in the design list, so if your design cannot be found immediately, please check again in a few days.
As an artist or shop owner you can manage pages, with the possibility to fill your portfolio with designs. Go to "My Pages" in the menu, make sure you have claimed your page or created a page. Open the dropdown menu for the page you want to upload designs for, click on "Designs" in the dropdown menu. If you haven't uploaded designs yet, 4 options will appear, add, upload, quick upload and flash upload.
Add: Add individual designs by referring to an external url (e.g. your tattoo shop's website)
Upload: Upload designs from an external platform, locally on your PC or via a smartphone. (Keep in mind that with this upload method additional metadata must be entered for each design, such as a title, description, tags, etc.) (Max. 10 files simultaneously)
Fast upload: Fast upload makes it possible to upload designs at once, without supplying metadata for each design. The designs are then visible in your portfolio but not in the design list, the designs are also not clickable and no comments can be placed. Complete the designs at a later date to increase your findability. (No limit)
Flash upload: Add your flash designs to your page, flash designs are visible in a seperate tab on your page and contain no metadata. Make sure that the images you upload using this method are flash designs and flash designs only. (No limit)
